The move makes sense for a team that's likely not going to make the playoffs. It's a premature end to his third professional season, one that probably left the Giants with more questions than answers going forward at the position. The good new is there is optimism the injury is not expected to affect Jones’ long-term future, which is the most important thing. Glennon threw three INTs in Week 15 and the team is considering making a switch to Fromm in Week 16 against the Eagles.

The New York Giants may actually look toward the future regarding the quarterback position -- for next week at least. With Daniel Jones still nursing a neck injury, Giants head coach Joe Judge will consider starting Jake Fromm over Mike Glennon for the team's Week 16 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Impact:

Fromm replaced Glennon late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, finishing 6 of 12 for 82 yards in limited minutes. In comparison, Glennon went 13 of 24 for 99 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions -- losing another start for the Giants. Glennon's .200 win percentage is the lowest for any starting quarterback in NFL history (minimum 25 starts) the story went on to say.
