Week 16 @ Los Angeles Chargers
Jaleel McLaughlin was in a great spot to take advantage of a Colts defense that had been susceptible to his running style prior to Week 15, but he handled only seven carries for a measly 21 yards. He caught all three of his targets, but added only 13 yards through the air, which ended up as a dud 3.4 half-PPR points. The Chargers defense presents a far more difficult challenge which makes McLaughlin unstartable in Week 16, as a ~RB40.

Week 15 vs. Indianapolis Colts
With teammate Javonte Williams relegated to an early-down rotation, Jaleel McLaughlin handled 14 carries, turning them into a new career-high 84 yards against the Browns in Week 13. Now he'll get a Colts defense that ranks 29th in RB aFPA, and we're really put in a tough spot where we want to trust an option in this backfield.

If this were the middle of the season, McLaughlin would be a very intriguing RB2, but you definitely have to roll the dice here if you want to play him in a pivotal Week 15. Consider him more of a risky RB3, considering how this backfield has looked on a weekly basis.
