Week 6 vs San Francisco 49ers/strong>
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is posting 5.8 receptions and 51.4 receiving yards per game in 2024, which is a big improvement on his rookie year of 2023 but still not enough to move the needle in fantasy terms. Smith-Njigba averages just 9.2 Half-PPR points through five weeks, a tally exceeded by 42 other wide receivers. The big breakout fantasy game is yet to occur.
Smith-Njigba doesn't have a particularly daunting task in Week 6, with the 49ers ranking 14th in aFPA to wide receivers. But until he shows that he can be a fantasy force to be reckoned with, it's hard to project him as anything more than a very low-end WR3 option.
