Scouting report

HOU RB Jonathan Grimes - Week 1, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Kansas City
Jonathan Grimes will join Alfred Blue and Chris Polk in the RBBC approach for Houston to start the season. Blue will start, but HC Bill O’Brien may go with whichever back is performing the best. Last season, Grimes carried the rock 39 times for 153 yards, including a 54-yard rushing day at Cleveland in mid-November. However, he should not be started in Week 1.

HOU RB Jonathan Grimes - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 – Jonathan Grimes vs. Baltimore Ravens
For the second week in a row Jonathan Grimes did not have a carry. There is no reason for him to be on a fantasy roster, even with Arian Foster battling injuries.

Week 15 – Jonathan Grimes vs. Indianapolis Colts
Jonathan Grimes did not have a carry against the Jaguars last week. He should not be on a fantasy roster.

HOU RB Jonathan Grimes - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 – Jonathan Grimes vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Jonathan Grimes carried the ball five times for 13 yards in the blowout over Tennessee last Sunday. However, with Arian Foster back from his groin injury there is no reason to have Grimes on your fantasy roster.

HOU RB Jonathan Grimes - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 – Jonathan Grimes vs. Dallas Cowboys
With Arian Foster back in the starting lineup last week, Jonathan Grimes did not receive a carry. There is no reason for him to be on a fantasy roster.

HOU RB Jonathan Grimes - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 – Jonathan Grimes vs. Buffalo Bills
Even though Arian Foster missed last week’s loss to the Giants, Jonathan Grimes finished with just a five-yard rush and 31-yard reception. Alfred Blue is the clear backup for Foster, meaning there’s no reason for Grimes to be on your fantasy roster, even if Foster is out again on Sunday.

HOU RB Jonathan Grimes - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 – Jonathan Grimes vs. New York Giants
In the win at Oakland last Sunday, Jonathan Grimes had three rushes for nine yards. Alfred Blue received 11 carries and is No. 2 on the depth chart behind Arian Foster. Even though the Texans run the ball a lot, there is no reason for Grimes to be taking up a fantasy roster spot.
