Scouting report

BUF QB Josh Allen - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Green Bay Packers
After a week off, Josh Allen should be well-rested for the Sunday prime time game in Buffalo. He has averaged 330 passing yards per game and 43 rushing yards per game and has been responsible for 19 touchdowns in 2022. Allen especially has played well at home.

Next up is the Packers who are ranked 8th in aFPA to quarterbacks. Although Green Bay's ranking is high, they have not played as good as they were expected.

Allen is the top ranked fantasy quarterback for Week 8. These are two teams heading in opposite directions. Expect a huge night for the Buffalo offense.

BUF QB Josh Allen - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Kansas City Chiefs
It was the best game of the season for Josh Allen throwing for 424 yards and four touchdowns. He also added 42 rushing yards. The only negative was the one interception. He made it look easy and was by far the best fantasy QB of Week 5.

The last time Allen faced the Chiefs was the AFC Divisional game where he threw for 329 yards and threw four touchdown passes while rushing for 68 yards. Kansas City is ranked 31st in aFPA to quarterbacks.

Allen should put up monster numbers again this week as he is ranked the No.1 fantasy quarterback for Week 6. This should be a shootout with plenty of offense and points scored.

BUF QB Josh Allen - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Josh Allen's passing stats last week were mediocre as he completed only 53% of his passes for 213 yards and one touchdown pass. However, his rushing stats were his best of the season as he ran for 70 yards and a touchdown. He has looked a little off the last two games but no need to worry as he still is one of top quarterbacks in the NFL.

Allen will face the Steelers who are ranked 19th in aFPA to quarterbacks. Pittsburgh has struggled on defense without T.J. Watt who will be out again Sunday.

Expect huge numbers for Allen for Week 5 and start him as the top fantasy quarterback in all leagues and formats. The Steelers defense is pretty bad so the Buffalo offense should have a good day at home.

BUF QB Josh Allen - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Baltimore Ravens
For the first time this season, Josh Allen didn't look unstoppable but still threw for 400 yards and two touchdowns. The catch was that he threw the football 63 times and the Bills only scored 19 points. He also added 47 rushing yards. It's hard to argue how good Allen is at this point in his career and he is a fantasy stud.

It's a great matchup for Allen this week as he faces the Ravens who are dead last in aFPA to quarterbacks. It will be a great battle between two of the best signal callers in the NFL.

Start Allen as the No. 1 overall fantasy quarterback for Week 4. He will reach the 350 passing yard mark and be involved with at least 3 touchdowns. Only question is can he outrush Lamar Jackson?

BUF QB Josh Allen - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Miami Dolphins
Josh Allen was even better in Week 2, throwing for 317 yards and 4 touchdowns. After throwing 2 interceptions Week 1, he didn't turn the ball over on Monday. The only negative was he only had 1 rushing attempt. Allen is just playing at a different level than pretty much everyone else.

The Bills head to Miami to take on the Dolphins. The Fins are ranked 11th in aFPA to quarterbacks. Allen had mixed results in two meetings with Miami last season. He threw for 179 yards, 2 TDs, and a pick in September and was better in the October meeting throwing for 249 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs and a rushing touchdown.

Start Allen as the top fantasy quarterback again even though the Dolphins defense is decent and had a good gameplan last year to limit him. He is the best QB option early in 2022.

BUF QB Josh Allen - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Tennessee
Josh Allen did throw two interceptions last Thursday, but besides that, he was almost perfect. He threw for 297 yards and three touchdowns and his completion rate was 84%. And of course, he ran for 56 yards and a score as well. Allen was the No. 1 fantasy quarterback in the preseason and this is the exact reason why.

Next up is the home opener against the Titans. Tenessee's pass defense was just okay last week in their loss to the Giants. They will have issues with Allen who threw for 353 yards and 3 touchdowns in last year's meeting.

Once again, Allen is the No. 1 ranked fantasy quarterback. His Week 2 numbers should match Week 1 and could even surpass them based on the matchup.

BUF QB Josh Allen - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Los Angeles Rams
There is a reason Josh Allen was ranked the No. 1 fantasy quarterback all preseason and that's because he can score you points in both the running game and passing game. The numbers from last season are legit and the Bills offense might be even better.

Allen will face a pretty good defense and the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. The Rams were ranked 8th in aFPA to quarterbacks last season, but don't let that discourage you a bit. Allen is good no matter who he plays against and will put up numbers even if LA ends up winning the game.

Start Allen as the No. 1 fantasy quarterback for Week 1. He will probably be ranked on top almost every week unless some injuries hit Buffalo or there is an injury to Allen himself. But he is a sure thing on a week-by-week basis and a reason his ADP moved up as the summer went on.
