DEN RB Justin Forsett - Week 17, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Oakland
Last week at the Chiefs, Justin Forsett finished with five carries, 11 yards and his first touchdown with the Broncos. Denver ran for just 63 yards in the loss and was held to only 33 yards on 12 carries in early November against the Raiders. None of the Denver RBs make for a good fantasy start.

DEN RB Justin Forsett - Week 16, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Kansas City
The Broncos ground attack was slowed again in the loss to New England last Sunday, as Justin Forsett led the team with just 10 rushes for 37 yards. He also caught four passes for 16 yards, but the line just isn’t opening any holes for whoever is carrying the ball. While Justin missed the first matchup against the Chiefs last month, Denver produced 124 yards in the overtime loss. However, with the offensive struggles, Forsett does not make for a good fantasy option.

DEN RB Justin Forsett - Week 15, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. New England
Newly-acquired RB Justin Forsett lost a fumble on his first touch as a Bronco last week at Tennessee, but went on to lead the team’s ground game with six carries for a whopping 17 yards. He also caught three passes for 18 yards. With all the injuries to the Broncos RBs, look for Forsett, who is familiar with Gary Kubiak’s offense, to continue to see more playing time than rookie Devontae Booker. However, there has to be a better option for your fantasy starter.

DET RB Justin Forsett - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Minnesota
With Theo Riddick returning last week at Houston, Justin Forsett did not receive a carry. Zach Zenner was given the ball three times, an indication that Forsett is down on the depth chart with his new team.

DET RB Justin Forsett - Week 8, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Houston
With Theo Riddick and Dwayne Washington out again last Sunday, Justin Forsett took advantage of some playing time with his new team and contributed 33 rushing yards and 15 receiving yards. While Zach Zenner got the team’s rushing score, the total touches was nearly even. Even when Riddick and Dwayne Washington return, expect to see Forsett continue to be a part of the ground game, and he could be a sneaky start against the league's fourth-worst defense against the run.

DET RB Justin Forsett - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Washington
In his first game with the Lions last Sunday, Justin Forsett ran for five yards on five carries against the Rams. Since Theo Riddick missed the contest, Justin split time in the backfield with Zach Zenner, but should receive more touches in the coming weeks as he becomes more familiar with the offense.

DET RB Justin Forsett - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Los Angeles
After being released by the Ravens for the second time this season, Justin Forsett finds himself in a good position with the Lions. Detroit has already lost Ameer Abdullah for the year and rookie Dwayne Washington is banged up, leaving just Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner as the only healthy RBs with experience. It's very likely Justin could contribute right away as the early-down ball carrier, which would allow Riddick to move back to the third down and receiving back. Adding Forsett to your starting lineup this week may be a bit early, but he should have some fantasy value soon.
