JAX TE Nick O'Leary - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Oakland Raiders
Even though Gardner Minshew passed for just 162 yards in the loss to the Chargers last week Nick O’Leary came away with four receptions for 30 yards and his first score with Jacksonville. In his three games as a Jaguar, he has nine grabs and 72 yards. Oakland’s pass defense is near the bottom of the league so O’Leary could be a sneaky start, especially if D.J. Chark is out.

JAX TE Nick O'Leary - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
With Seth DeValve battling an oblique injury, Nick O’Leary has posted five grabs for 42 yards in his two games with Jacksonville. However, in the loss to the Bucs last week he finished with just a six-yard catch despite four targets. Gardner Minshew has too many other weapons in the passing game for O’Leary to warrant a fantasy start.

MIA TE Nick O'Leary - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Minnesota Vikings

Miami may have pulled off a miracle last week, but heading on the road to Minnesota this week may require the second coming. The Dolphins have an implied team total of just 18.5 points and are touchdown underdogs. Plus, Miami hasn't had a consistent TE for fantasy all season. Nothing to see here.

MIA TE Nick O'Leary - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Houston Texans (Thursday)

The Dolphins may be down two starting receivers, but O'Leary only has seven targets over the past two weeks. He's not a viable streaming option in Week 8.

MIA TE Nick O'Leary - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Detroit Lions

Nick O'Leary may be emerging as the go-to option at tight end for Adam Gase after his debut last week, but we need to see more from him before even considering him in deep TE premium leagues, let alone normal re-draft leagues.

BUF TE Nick O'Leary - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at New York Jets

Nick O'Leary had a limited impact last Sunday with 3 targets and 1 reception. The tight end still remains part of the Bills gameplan as O'Leary has had some decent outings since Charles Clay went down. However, Buffalo acquired WR Kelvin Benjamin, so that could eat into O'Leary's targets.

It's a great matchup this week, as the Jets rank 30th in aPFA to tight ends. But this doesn't push O'Leary up the tight end rankings enough to warrant a start. Keep him on the bench as a solid TE2 for Week 9.

BUF TE Nick O'Leary - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Oakland Raiders

Nick O'Leary has recorded back-to-back games with at least 50 receiving yards and has averaged 4 targets per game since Charles Clay went out. Those numbers might not be overwhelming, but with a lack of options in the passing game, O'Leary is as good an option as any other Bills pass-catcher.

For Week 8, O'Leary has a matchup with the Raider,s who have been average against tight ends this season. However, we still haven't seen him get enough attention to warrant serious consideration. He ranks as a TE2 for Week 8, though, which keeps him on the bench.
