KC QB Patrick Mahomes - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Denver Broncos

Patrick Mahomes posted a three-touchdown game for the first time this season in Kansas City's 30-24 overtime win over the Buccaneers. He gets the Broncos this week who just got toasted by Lamar Jackson and the Ravens last week, dropping 41 points on them. And with DeAndre Hopkins just about fully integrated into the offense, Mahomes may really start taking off again. That's bad news for the rest of the league.

KC QB Patrick Mahomes - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Patrick Mahomes went 27-of-38 for 271 yards and two touchdowns in last week's win over the Raiders. It was his first game with at least two touchdown passes since Week 3. Of course, no one in Kansas City is complaining. The Chiefs are 7-0. They go for 8-0 Monday against the Buccaneers, a team that gives Mahomes a favorable matchup. Tampa is allowing the 4th-most passing yards per game at the halfway point. Kirk Cousins had 276 yards four touchdowns last week against the Bucs,

KC QB Patrick Mahomes - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Las Vegas Raiders

It may not have been the best of days in the air for Patrick Mahomes (16/27, 154 yards) but he did rush for a touchdown to salvage his fantasy day. Mahomes does now have DeAndre Hopkins in the mix, but it's fair to think he'll be limited this week as he learns the offense. The Raiders do sport the 7th-lowest passing yards per game allowed. Mahomes is looking to break his recent funk with zero touchdowns and three interceptions in his last two games and at least one interception in all six games played.

KC QB Patrick Mahomes - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at San Francisco 49ers

Did the bye week help the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes get back on track offensively? Their fans and fantasy owners sure hope so, at least from a touchdown and interception perspective -- Mahomes has six touchdowns and six interceptions in five games. The good news is Andy Reid is usually very good following a bye week. This year, their return from the bye is the Super Bowl rematch against the 49ers, a team that is in the bottom half in the league against the pass. This is Patrick Mahomes we're talking about, so upside will always be there but he's trying to make it work with rookie Xavier Worthy and the returning JuJu Smith-Schuster on the outside. Mahomes threw for 333 yards and two touchdowns against the 49ers in the Super Bowl.

KC QB Patrick Mahomes - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. New Orleans Saints

The Chiefs are 4-0 despite the offense not being as explosive as we've become accustomed to seeing. Patrick Mahomes has topped 250 passing yards just once this season and already has five interceptions, including at least one in all four games. And now he's without Rashee Rice for a while, maybe even the rest of the season. It's weird seeing Mahomes ranked as low as he is, but here we are. Mahomes is just above the cutline for being a QB1 as he prepares to face the Saints on Monday night.

KC QB Patrick Mahomes - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Los Angeles Chargers

Early on, there hasn't been a huge amount of Mahomes magic so far this season. He has five touchdowns and four interceptions and his 89.9 passer rating would currently stand as the lowest of his career. Other than Rashee Rice, no other receiver has been a huge help through three weeks, including Travis Kelce, much to everyone's surprise. The good news is he'll face the Chargers this week without safety Derwin James, who is serving a one-game suspension. Could this be the week Mahomes gets back on his normal track? He's still a top-ten option with room to grow.

KC QB Patrick Mahomes - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Atlanta Falcons

It was certainly a very down game by Patrick Mahomes typical standards with just 151 passing yards. Mahomes did throw two touchdown passes but also had two interceptions. The Falcons defense is feeling good after holding the Eagles (minute AJ Brown) to 18 points. They’ll have to come to play again against Mahomes, who may be asked to do more while the team doesn’t have Isiah Pacheco. That could be good news for his fantasy owners.
