NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Carolina Panthers

Robby Anderson scored a touchdown for the fourth straight game and also had 85 receiving yards in the Jets' last game. The targets haven't been what you would like to see from a No. 1 receiver, but the production has been pretty good.

Anderson faces the Panthers this Sunday, who are ranked 13th in aFPA to wide receivers. Carolina's defense has been playing better in recent weeks and the Jets offense has struggled a bit.

Anderson is definitely a fantasy option, ranking as a low-end WR2 for Week 12. He has more value in PPR leagues.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Robby Anderson scored a touchdown for the third straight game and has been very consistent over the past month. This has earned him an elevation in his fantasy stock and he has become a very reliable player.

Anderson has a great matchup for Week 10 against a Tampa Bay defense ranked 31st in aFPA to wide receivers. Expect another good outing by Anderson—start him as a solid WR2 this Sunday.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Buffalo Bills

Robby Anderson had a season-high 6 receptions and career-high 104 receiving yards against the Falcons last Sunday. He has now scored touchdowns in back-to-back games.

Anderson will face a Bills defense ranked 11th in aFPA to wide receivers. Buffalo's secondary has been good this season. Anderson had 4 catches in the first meeting with the Bills but only 22 yards.

Anderson is a decent play for Week 9. Start him as a low-end WR2 against the Bills.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Robby Anderson had 3 receptions last week, but one of them was for a touchdown. On the season, Anderson has sometimes been the main target and sometimes a secondary target. It's been hard to predict. He is playing 80% of the snaps and he had a 12-target game against New England.

Anderson will face a Falcons defense ranked 15th in aFPA to wide receivers. He has been involved enough in the passing game to give him fantasy value each week, so consider him a WR3 for Week 8.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Miami Dolphins

Robby Anderson had a game-high and a season-high 12 targets last week against New England but it only resulted in 4 receptions. But, he did produce 76 receiving yards. Anderson's 4 catches were a season-high as well, so his numbers haven't given us enough confidence to insert him in the lineup on a regular basis.

However, with a fairly decent matchup against Miami, Anderson does carry some value and those 12 targets last week help. Start Anderson as a low-end WR3 or flex option for Week 7.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. New England Patriots

Robby Anderson was targeted 5 times last Sunday but it only produced 2 receptions. This is pretty much how Anderson will be in 2017. He will occasionally show some WR2 potential but in the end, you will get most weeks like Week 5.

Anderson does have a good matchup against the Pats, who are ranked 27th in aFPA to wide receivers. Even with that, it is still not a good idea to play Anderson in Week 6. Keep him on the bench.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Cleveland Browns

Robbie Anderson is still getting some attention in the passing game despite more fantasy attention on his teammate Jermaine Kearse. Anderson actually had the best numbers last week with 59 receiving yards. One problem with the Jets from a fantasy standpoint is the targets get spread around so nobody really stands out. The Jets also prefer to run the football and have a safe passing attack for QB Josh McCown.

For Week 5, Anderson faces a Browns defense ranked 26th in aFPA to wide receivers. Despite the good matchup, Anderson should still remain on the bench, although he is a borderline WR3/Flex fantasy player against Cleveland.
