NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Houston Texans

Robby Anderson had one of his better fantasy games of the season catching four passes for 76 yards and a touchdown. The four is the key number as he has not caught more than four passes in any game this season. But the yardage total was better and he did get in the end zone for the first time since Week 5.

Anderson will face a Texans defense that is ranked 19th in aFPA to wide receivers. With Quincy Enunwa out with an injury, we expect Anderson to be the focus in the passing game which gets him in your starting lineup for Week 15. Start him as a WR3 or flex against Houston.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Buffalo Bills

Robby Anderson continues to try to find his footing in the Jets offense. He only had four catches for 32 yards but he now gets the quarterback who helped him put up very good numbers last season - Josh McCown.

It remains to be seen if McCown will find some of his magic from last season, but if he does, Anderson should be a part if it. For now, keep Anderson on the bench for Week 10, especially against a very good Buffalo pass defense but keep an eye on is numbers with the veteran QB.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Minnesota Vikings

After a slow start to the season, Robby Anderson exploded in Week 5 with a 123 receiving yard day and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, his numbers fell last week to 39 yards which has been the norm this season. There is light at the end of the tunnel. The most targeted receiver on the Jets has been Quincy Enunwa and he is now out for week 7. Anderson should get more targets and more opportunities.

The Jets face a Vikings defense that is 23rd in aFPA to wide receivers. So, that makes Anderson playable this week as a low-end WR3 or Flex.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Indianapolis Colts
With only three catches in Week 5, it would appear Robby Anderson had another tough week. But those three catches went for 123 yards and two touchdowns giving Anderson his best outing of the season. In the previous four games, Anderson had a total of 8 catches.

The Colts are up next and are 23rd in aFPA to wide receivers. Even with a favorable matchup, the Jets passing game has struggled and so has Anderson. Keep him on the bench for Week 6.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Denver Broncos
So far, it has been a disappointing return for Robby Anderson after missing the 2017 season. He only has eight receptions for 108 yards this season and one touchdown. Many thought he would be the No. 1 Jets receiver, but it hasn't worked out that way.

Anderson will face a tough Denver pass defense and considering he is only averaging four targets per game, there isn't much value for him. He definitely should remain on the bench for Week 5.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Cleveland Browns

Robby Anderson is off to a slow start in 2018, with four catches for 68 yards, but more importantly, only six targets. Rookie QB Sam Darnold has honed in on Quincy Enunwa through the first two weeks, but that could always change.

The Jets have a pretty tough matchup on the road in Cleveland against a Browns pass defense ranked eighth in aFPA to wide receivers. New York needs to make an effort to get Anderson the ball. Don't throw him on the waiver wire just yet, but also don't insert him in your starting lineup this week.

NYJ WR Robby Anderson - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Miami Dolphins

Robby Anderson only had one target this past Monday but he made it count. The one reception was for 41 yards and touchdown, which saved his fantasy day from being a disaster. Anderson should get more targets moving forward.

The Jets face the Dolphins this week, who have a decent pass defense, but it's not good enough where Anderson shouldn't have better numbers than last week.

Start Anderson in Week 2 as a WR3 or flex option and expect more opportunities than one deep ball.
