Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (hamstring) practiced fully Wednesday. West should return to lead back duties this week, though Spencer Ware has played well enough to earn some touches going forward.

Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (hamstring, questionable) missed practice all week and is questionable for Week 12. There's a chance he'll play, but looks to be closer to doubtful than probable. If he's out, Spencer Ware will likely see the bulk of the touches. The Chiefs play early on Sunday.

Chiefs pass on bigger-name RBs

The Kansas City Chiefs had some bigger names in for running back workouts on Tuesday: Ben Tate, Pierre Thomas, Isaiah Pead and Bryce Brown.

That they went with an in-house option, Spencer Ware, to replace the injured Jamaal Charles on their roster, would seem to speak well for Ware and their other backs, Charcandrick West and Knile Davis. Ware, who played for the Chiefs in training camp and the preseason, had been on their practice squad.

The Chiefs placed Charles, who tore his ACL in Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears, on the injured-reserve list.

Fantasy Impact: 

Most outlets say it's West who passed Davis on the depth chart as the team's RB2. Andy Reid went as far as saying West has a similar skill set to Charles while Davis is a one-cut runner. Davis has had success filling in for Charles in the past, but right now it seems like West is the back to own. However don't be surprised if Davis gets some work as well.
