Scouting report

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at New York Jets
Stefon Diggs had eight targets which produced six receptions for 85 yards. That has been the norm this year for him after lighting the league on fire in 2020. The Bills offense was shocked last week, not scoring a touchdown against Jacksonville. Diggs might be a casualty of his own success and QB Josh Allen spreading the ball around this season.

Buffalo faces the Jets who are ranked 20th in aFPA to wide receivers. Diggs didn't have any big games against New York in 2020, but he is due for a good one this week.

Start Diggs as a solid WR1 for Week 10. The Buffalo offense should bounce back and even if Diggs keeps getting the targets he has been getting, it's still good enough to justify his ranking.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Jacksonville
Stefon Diggs was fairly quiet last week with five receptions for 40 yards. However, he did score his third touchdown of the season. There is little doubt the Bills are spreading the ball more around in 2021 and that has hurt Diggs numbers although he still their No. 1 option in the passing game. They just aren't relying on him as much.

Buffalo faces the Jaguars who are ranked 21st in aFPA to wide receivers. The Bills offense is one of the best in the NFL and we expect alot of points this Sunday. Diggs should benefit from the favorable matchup, especially if the targets go back to double digits.

Start Diggs as a top five fantasy receiver. We expect around eight catches and 95-100 receiving yards. Touchdowns are always a bonus with Diggs.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Miami
Against Tennessee before the bye week, Stefon Diggs had season-highs in targets and receptions. He has had double-digit targets in 4 of 6 games this season, but the production seems to be below where he was last year in a season that saw him lead the NFL in almost every category.

Diggs faces Miami who is ranked 30th in aFPA to wide receivers. In the first meeting with the Dolphins earlier this season, he had four receptions for 60 yards but it was one of the two games he didn't get double-digit targets.

Coming off the bye at home creates a great scenario for Diggs to have a big game. Start him as a Top-5 fantasy wide receiver for Week 8.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Tennessee
Stefon Diggs had season-lows in targets and catches last week. As much as Diggs still is making plays, his impact has been disappointing through 5 weeks. He has only eclipsed the 70 receiving yard mark once so far and still has problems finding the end zone. It's not like he isn't getting fantasy numbers. but they aren't close to where they were last season.

Maybe a visit to Tennessee will help. Diggs faces a Titans team that is ranked 30th in aFPA to wide receivers. Diggs had 10 catches for 106 yards last season against them and season-high 16 targets. Owners would like to see that latter number again.

Because of the matchup, Diggs ranks a top-5 fantasy receiver for Week 6. We expect him to get on track and be the center of the passing game again. Start him in all leagues and formats.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Kansas City

Stefon Diggs was targeted 11 times on Sunday and we are seeing what we saw last year with that being this third game in double digits. He also had his best receiving day with seven receptions for 114 yards. And like last year, the touchdowns have been hard to come by.

Diggs will face the Chiefs who are 28th in aFPA to wide receivers. He had six catches for 77 yards against KC in the AFC Championship Game last season. It's a good matchup for the Buffalo passing game.

Start Diggs as a solid WR1 for Week 5. We are expecting a shootout Sunday night and Diggs should get his usual double-digit targets. The only thing stopping him from being a top 5 fantasy receiver is the touchdown issue.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Houston
Stefon Diggs was back to double-digit targets with 10 this past Sunday. It produced six receptions for 62 yards. We have not seen the big game in terms of yardage and the touchdowns which eluded him last season seem to be the case again this season.

The matchup is favorable this Sunday as the Bills host Houston who is ranked 13th in aFPA to wide receivers. This is an average Texans defense and Diggs is due for a breakout game.

Start Diggs in all leagues and formats as a top 5 fantasy wide receiver for Week 4. The odds are with him to put up his best numbers of the season in both receptions and receiving yardage.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Washington
It's been a slow start for Stefon Diggs as he has faced two top defenses who have made it a priority to limit what he can do. He has 13 receptions which will help owners in a PPR league. But he has been limited to 129 receiving yards and only one touchdown. The Bills have gotten more other players involved which other teams might eventually adjust. Diggs is a unique talent so there is no reason to think he won't overcome early adversity.

Diggs faces a Washington defense ranked 3rd in aFPA to wide receivers in 2020. The WFT will try to handle Diggs one-on-one with their personnel so this could be a good opportunity for him to have his first big game of 2021.

Start Diggs as a solid WR1 for Week 3. His talent will get you enough fantasy points even with a tough matchup, but don't expect his usual top 5 fantasy receiver ranking.
