Week 2 vs. Cleveland Browns
It was a tale of two halves for Trevor Lawrence in Week 1. This was an interesting stat from ESPN's Ben Solak: Lawrence's expected points added per dropback in the first half was 0.23. His second half was -0.10. As Solak notes, we don't know much of a divide there is within the playcalling duties in Jacksonville like there was in 2022 between head coach Doug Pederson and offensive coordinator Press Taylor. In any event, Lawrence ended up with just 162 yards on 12/21 passing against the Dolphins. This week, he gets the stingy Browns defense, a group that only allowed 179 passing yards to the NFL's first $60 million/year man, Dak Prescott. Lawrence is a QB2 and possible streaming option this week.
