JAX QB Trevor Lawrence - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Kansas City Chiefs

Week 10 was a strong outing for Trevor Lawrence, both in reality and fantasy. Lawrence completed 805 of his passes, going 25/31 for 235 yards and a touchdown. Lawrence also rushed six times for 5.3 yards. As encouraging as these numbers are, they're still not earth-shattering. Lawrence hasn't thrown more than a single touchdown in a game since Week 4, and he has been held under 250 passing yards in four of his last six. Still, he managed 16.7 fantasy points against the Raiders, finishing as the QB11 in Week 9.

Lawrence might be able to grab his fill of fantasy points in what could end up being a high-scoring affair against the Chiefs. The Chiefs rank 25th in aFPA to quarterbacks this season, allowing a league-high 17 passing touchdowns while only intercepting three passes. Lawrence should be viewed as a low-end QB1 in Week 10.

JAX QB Trevor Lawrence - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Trevor Lawrence put out his worst performance of the season in Week 9 as the Jaguars fell to the Denver Broncos. Lawrence completed 18 of his 31 attempts for just 133 yards, a pitiful 4.29 yards per attempt. Lawrence tossed a single touchdown pass but also two interceptions, while his three rushing attempts brought just 15 yards. Lawrence scored a mere 6.8 fantasy points, "good" for QB28 for the week.

If ever Lawrence can get right, it should be in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders rank 32nd in aFPA to quarterbacks in 2022, with all seven QBs scoring at least 17.2 fantasy points against them. Lawrence should be viewed as a high-end QB2 in Week 9.

JAX QB Trevor Lawrence - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Denver Broncos (London)

Trevor Lawrence was able to produce fantasy-friendly stats in Week 7 despite an inefficient performance passing the ball. Against the Giants, Lawrence amassed a season-high 310 passing yards, but he completed just 22 of his 43 attempts and failed to throw a touchdown pass. He did find the end zone on the ground, however, giving him three rushing scores in two games. Lawrence was the QB6 in Week 7 and is the QB10 with 16.7 fantasy points per game.

Lawrence faces a tough matchup in Week 8 as the Jaguars take on the Denver Broncos at Wembley Stadium in London. The Broncos currently rank fourth in aPFA to quarterbacks in 2022 and are allowing just 173.1 passing yards per game. Lawrence projects to be a high-end QB2 this week.

JAX QB Trevor Lawrence - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs New York Giants

Trevor Lawrence posted a fantasy-friendly stat line in the Jaguars' Week 6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He completed 20 of his 22 pass attempts, but only mustered 165 passing yards. Lawrence did throw a touchdown pass and added two more scores among his season-high six rushing attempts. Lawrence mustered 24.9 fantasy points and was the QB4in Week 6.

Lawrence could certainly make some fantasy noise in Week 7 when the Jaguars lock horns with the Giants. The Giants rank 17th in aFPA to quarterbacks in 2022, with no player managing more than 19.34 fantasy points against them. Still, Lawrence projects as a low-end QB1 this week.

JAX QB Trevor Lawrence - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Indianapolis Colts

It was a pretty miserable day at the office for Trevor Lawrence against the Texans in Week 5. He threw for a season-high 286 yards, but it took him a season-high 47 attempts to get there. Lawrence did not throw a touchdown pass for the first time this season but did toss a pair of interceptions. His four rush attempts for 29 yards helped his fantasy output somewhat, but he still finished as only the QB22 with 10.3 fantasy points.

Lawrence will be hoping for better things in Week 6 against a Colts team he took 235 yards and two touchdowns off back in Week 2. The Colts are a fairly average unit when it comes to quarterbacks, sitting at 13th in aFPA to the position. Still, it's hard to trust Lawrence above the middle range of the QB2 tier this week.

JAX QB Trevor Lawrence - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Houston Texans

It was a rough day at the office for Trevor Lawrence in Week 4 against the Eagles. He completed just 11 of his 23 pass attempts (47.8%) for 174 yards. Lawrence tossed a pair of touchdowns to Jamal Agnew, but he also threw an interception. In addition, he was sacked four times and fumbled four times, losing all four of them. Lawrence managed a miserable 5.7 fantasy points, a total that 30 other quarterbacks exceeded last week.

Lawrence will look to bounce back in Week 5 against the Houston Texans. But it won't be that easy. The Texans are currently ranked 10th in aFPA allowed to quarterbacks in 2022. Lawrence should be viewed as a high-end QB2 this week.

JAX QB Trevor Lawrence - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Philadelphia Eagles

Trevor Lawrence's strong start to the season continued in Week 3 as he led the Jaguars to stomp the Los Angeles Chargers. Lawrence completed 28 of his 39 pass attempts for 262 yards and three touchdowns, adding three rushes for seven yards, as the Jaguars came away with a 38-10 victory. Lawrence amassed 25.2 fantasy points, good for QB4 for Week 3, and is the QB10 overall this season.

Lawrence may find his work difficult in Week 4 against an Eagles defense that destroyed Carson Wentz last week, sacking him nine times. The Eagles rank second in aFPA to quarterbacks this season, trailing only the Bills. Lawrence should be considered a mid-tier QB2 in Week 4.
