MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Tua Tagovailoa had one of his poorer games in Week 9 before the Dolphins had their bye week. He threw for a season-low 193 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. While it wasn't a great outing, that's an incredible floor for Tagovailoa's worst game of the year. He faced a good Chiefs defense, so it's not too surprising he didn't light up the scoreboard. This week, Tagovailoa gets another good defense as the Raiders are 9th in aFPA to QBs. Despite the matchup, Tagovailoa should be still be viewed as a near top five option at QB in Week 11.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Kansas City Chiefs

Tua Tagovailoa had another strong outing last week, finishing with 324 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. Tagovailoa leads the NFL in pass yards (302 ypg) and is tied for the league lead in passing touchdowns (18). In fantasy he's QB5 due to his lack of rush yards, but he's still an elite option each week. In Week 9 he draws a tough matchup against the Chiefs (2nd aFPA), but he should still be viewed as a top five option at QB. The Chiefs have a good defense, but with both of these high-powered offenses, there's a chance it turns into a high-scoring game.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. New England Patriots

Tua Tagovailoa struggled last week as he finished with a season-low 216 pass yards. He also had one touchdown and one interception. It's not the worst game ever, though, and shows that even when Tagovailoa has an off-day, his floor is still pretty high. Tagovailoa has finished with at least one touchdown in every game so far this season. This week he faces the Patriots, a team he faced back in Week 2. In that game, Tagovailoa finished with 249 yards with one touchdown and an interception. The Patriots (9th aFPA) are a pretty tough matchup, but Tagovailoa should still be viewed as a top 10 option (nearly top five) at QB in Week 8.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Philadelphia Eagles

Tua Tagovailoa had a solid outing last week as he finished with 262 yards, three touchdowns and no turnovers. In six games this season, Tagovailoa has finished with at least three touchdowns three times. He's tied for the league lead in touchdown passes, is first in pass yards and is also first in QB rating. He's currently QB3 in fantasy as the only negative about him is he doesn't get rush yards. His high level of production should continue in Week 7 as he gets a favorable matchup vs. the Eagles (29th aFPA). Tagovailoa should be viewed as a top five option at QB in Week 7.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Carolina Panthers

Tua Tagovailoa kept up his impressive season with another great showing last week, finishing with 308 yards and two touchdowns (although he also had two interceptions). Tagovailoa has topped 300 yards passing in three of his five games this season with an average of 322.8 yards per game. And in every game he's had 300+ yards, he's finished with multiple touchdowns. His production could slow down a little this week as he gets a tough matchup against the Panthers who are 7th in aFPA to QBs. But this offense has been too good to be too worried about matchups. Tagovailoa should be viewed as a top 10 option at QB in Week 6.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. New York Giants

Tua Tagovailoa had a solid game last week, finishing with 282 yards, one touchdown and an interception. Tagovailoa has played well in his two favorable matchups (LAC, DEN) and has been just OK in his tougher matchups (BUF, NE), but that's to be expected. The good news is Tagovailoa hasn't really had a fully bust game as he's at least scored one touchdown every game this season. This week he draws a middle-of-the-road matchup against the Giants. Considering his production so far this year, Tagovailoa can be trusted as a top 10 option at QB. He'll be a strong start in Week 5.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Buffalo Bills

Tua Tagovailoa had nearly a flawless game in Week 3 as he threw for 309 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. And he did all of that without his No. 2 receiver in Jaylen Waddle. Tagovailoa is QB3 so far this season as he's had two incredible performances. However, this week he draws a brutal matchup against the Bills, who have given up the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Last season vs. the Bills, Tagovailoa threw for 186 yards with one touchdown and 234 yards with two touchdowns. This isn't an ideal matchup for Tagovailoa owners, but given the production from the Dolphins' QB so far this season, he'd be difficult to bench. Tagovailoa should be viewed as a top 10 QB option for Week 4.
