MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at San Francisco 49ers

Tua Tagovailoa fell just short of another 300-yard performance with 299 yards last week. He only had one touchdown as his three-game streak of throwing three touchdown passes came to an end. It was still a good performance from Tagovailoa, who has now gone a league-leading 174 pass attempts without an interception. He could struggle a bit this week as he gets a tough 49ers defense that's allowed the 6th-fewest average fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. But given Tagovailoa's season so far, he should still be viewed as a top 10 quarterback for Week 13.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Houston Texans

Tua Tagovailoa was on a hot streak prior to the Dolphins' bye in Week 11. He had three consecutive games with three touchdown passes, and threw for over 300 yards in nearly all of them (averaged 323). Tagovailoa should still be viewed as a great option in Week 12, although he does draw a tough matchup vs. the Texans. Houston has allowed the third-fewest average fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. The Texans have given up just nine passing touchdowns to QBs this year, which is the second-fewest in the league. We wouldn't expect a monster game from Tagovailoa, but he should still be viewed as a top five option at QB in Week 12.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Cleveland Browns

Tua Tagovailoa continues to shine as he had another great outing in Week 9, finishing with 302 yards and three touchdowns. Tagovailoa has six career games with 300 passing yards or more, and three of them have come from this season. Even better is he's scored 12 total touchdowns in those three 300+ yard games this year. This week he gets a middle-of-the-road matchup vs. the Browns (13th aFPA). Tagovailoa is a top-10 QB option in Week 10.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Chicago Bears

Tua Tagovailoa had one of the better games of his career last week, finishing with 382 yards, three touchdowns and no turnovers. He even added 19 yards on the ground. When fully healthy, Tagovailoa has been a top-tier fantasy option. He's excelled in favorable matchups, and performed well in the tough matchups. He gets an OK matchup this week against the Bears as he should continue to be a strong option. Tagovailoa should be viewed as a top 10 quarterback this week.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Detroit Lions

Tua Tagovailoa had a decent return to NFL action last week. He threw for 261 yards with a touchdown with no turnovers and 15 rushing yards. Tagovailoa obviously had the monster six touchdown game in Week 2, but in his other three healthy games this season he's failed to score multiple touchdowns while averaging 239 pass yards. Meaning he's been good, not great. But Tagovailoa has a high ceiling with the receiving threats in this offense, and that ceiling might be hit in Week 8. Tagovailoa draws a favorable matchup against the Lions who have given up the 4th-most average fantasy points to quarterbacks. Tagovailoa will be a top-10 quarterback play this week.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Tua Tagovailoa has been removed from Miami's injury report and is expected to start in Week 7 after a two-week absence as he recovered from a concussion. Before his injury, Tagovailoa was off to a great start this season, utilizing Miami's dynamic duo in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Despite two tough matchups against the Patriots and Bills, Tagovailoa remained a strong option at QB before his injury. In Week 7 he'll return in a favorable matchup against the Steelers, who have given up the 7th-most average fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Tagovailoa should be viewed as a near top 10 option at quarterback in Week 7.

MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Cincinnati Bengals

Tua Tagovailoa came crashing down in Week 3 with 186 yards and a touchdown. This was expected, though. For starters, he was never going to keep up the pace of his production from Week 2. But it was also a very tough matchup against the Bills. Unfortunately things don't get much easier this week as Tagovailoa faces the Bengals. Cincinnati has allowed the third-fewest average fantasy points to quarterbacks so far this season. Despite the tough matchup, Tagovailoa still offers upside given the crazy talent of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. And he still played well against the Bills last week, completing 13-of-18 passes with no turnovers. Tagovailoa should be viewed as a top 10 option at QB in Week 4.
