Scouting report

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs New England
It was the third game in a row that Tyler Boyd had five receptions so he has been consistent in recent weeks. He ended up with 75 receiving yards, but was held out of the end zone for the first time since Week 12.

Boyd will play against the Patriots who are ranked 3rd in aFPA to wide receivers. He has been a fantasy asset and has had good rankings with Andy Dalton back, but the tough matchup pushes him down to a low-end WR3 in all leagues and formats. Don't expect a big game from Boyd.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Cleveland
Tyler Boyd enjoyed the return of QB Andy Dalton to the starting lineup. Boyd was targeted 10 times, the most since Week 11 and produced five catches and a touchdown. There is no doubt his fantasy stock is better with Dalton at the helm so his value is now higher.

Boyd will play against Cleveland who is 15th in aFPA to wide receivers. He only played against the Browns once last season and had seven catches for 85 yards and a touchdown.

For Week 14, start Boyd as a low-end WR2 in standard leagues but a higher WR2 in PPR leagues. Numbers similar to last year's performance is not out of the question.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs New York Jets
Tyler Boyd had a huge game last week against his hometown team. He had five receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown and now veteran QB Andy Dalton returns to the starting lineup.

Boyd will face the Jets who are 27th in aFPA to wide receivers. We expect another good game for unless Dalton is absolutely awful.

Start Boyd as a low-end WR2 for Week 13 and maybe he can get his fourth 100+ receiving yard game of the season.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Pittsburgh
Tyler Boyd is the No. 1 receiver but it is puzzling to see him get only three targets and one reception for zero yards last week. The talent is there. The productivity is there historically. Yes, teams are keying on him because of his previous success. But the Bengals have to get him the ball more.

Boyd will play Pittsburgh who is 12th in aFPA to wide receivers. He was limited the first times the two teams met with three catches for 33 yards. With a rookie quarterback behind center and recent numbers, keep Boyd on the bench for Week 12 in standard leagues, but you can start him as a WR3 in PPR leagues.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Oakland
Tyler Boyd continues to be consistent with his numbers. He had six catches for the second straight game and has averaged just over 63 receiving yards over that two-game span. Boyd is a victim of a poor Bengals offense and won't be helped with a rookie playing quarterback now. He only has one touchdown this season.

Boyd has a great matchup against Oakland who is 30th in aFPA to wide receivers. Even with the bad Cincy offense and rookie quarterback, the matchup pushes Boyd into your lineup as a WR3.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Baltimore
Tyler Boyd has been very quiet since Week 5 and it was expected that A.J. Green was supposed to return this week, but that's not happening so Boyd remains the No. 1 option in the Cincy passing game. The Bengals will also start rookie quarterback Ryan Finley so that won't help the fantasy value of Boyd or any other Bengals skill players.

Boyd faces the Ravens who are 18th in aFPA to wide receivers. It hasn't been smooth sailing for him in recent weeks but he still has enough value to be in your lineup as a low-end WR3 for Week 10.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Los Angeles Rams
Tyler Boyd was targeted 14 times last Sunday but it only produced five catches for 55 yards. Over the past two weeks, he only has eight receptions for 65 yards. The Bengals offense isn't very good and even though Boyd is still the most dangerous receiver in the passing game, his fantasy performances have been a roller coaster.

It won't get much easier this week as the Bengals visit the Rams who are 10th in aFPA to wide receivers and have added defensive back Jaylen Ramsey. Boyd's rating falls because of that.

Start Boyd as a WR3 in standard leagues and a low-end WR2 in PPR leagues. The targets will be there, but probably not results.
