Week 12 vs Washington

Could Tyler Lockett play against Arizona every week? He seems to do really well against them. Now Seattle needs that momentum to carry over to Monday night, as this is basically do-or-die time for the Seahawks at 3-7. Unfortunately, Lockett's recent history against Washington isn't good. His last two games against Washington (2020, 2017) have produced just 44 yards. But this is a different (and worse) Washington team. This needs to be another strong week for Lockett.

I get it. You're probably tired of hearing about Tyler Lockett's weekly upside. It's been a frustrating ride again, especially after signing that huge contract extension in the offseason. But...he is facing the team he scored four touchdowns against in 2020 as well as posting a 200-yard game. Just saying.

Week 10 vs Packers

Now that's the Tyler Lockett we know and love. After a stretch of being very quiet, Lockett finally broke free again with 12 catches for 142 yards against the Jaguars, giving him a boost of confidence going into the bye week. And now he gets his buddy back in Russell Wilson. That alone gives him WR2 value this week as Wilson will always find a way to get Lockett involved as much as possible.

Week 8 vs Jaguars

Tyler Lockett was already dropping even before Geno Smith took over. It's gotten worse since then. He had just 12 yards against the Saints. Of course, Smith was barely moving the ball as a whole, but still, it's really frustrating to see how inconsistent Lockett has become. He had just three targets last week. Those 100-yard games seem like forever ago. Jacksonville is No. 18 in our matchup rankings vs WRs so...maybe?

Week 7 vs Saints

It's frustrating and unfortunate to yet again watch Tyler Lockett be so inconsistent. Week 6 was arguably Lockett's worst output this season with 35 yards on two catches. To put things into a little perspective, Lockett has totaled 147 yards on 15 catches over the last four games after a 4/100/2 Week 1 and an 8/178/1 Week 2. He's still getting targets, however, so we can't write him off. He's still a flex option, especially with six teams off this week.

Week 6 vs Steelers

It's almost like deja vu. Lockett started off so hot and has quickly cooled off. After two straight 100-yard games, Lockett has three games with 57 yards or less and zero touchdowns. He did, however, see 10 targets in Week 5, his most since Week 2. We'll see what kind of connection Smith and Lockett have going forward. For now, Lockett is a flex option as he tries to get his fantasy season back on track.

Week 5 vs Rams

After a shot start to the season, Lockett has cooled off over the last two weeks, totaling just 55 yards on eight catches. He's also been quiet recently against the Rams. 66 yards is his best output in the last five games against LA, including the playoffs. Lockett always has upside each week, but proceed with caution. We've seen this story before with Lockett.
