Scouting report

LAC TE Will Dissly - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Leading target man Will Dissly? Yeah, it's as weird to type as it is to read. Dissly had 6 targets last week, which was as many as Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, and Josh Palmer had combined. That likely won't happen ever again, but it's clear Dissly's role has grown in this offense over the last month. Hayden Hurst is an afterthought and Justin Herbert clearly trusts Dissly.

The Bengals are 26th aFPA against tight ends this season so the matchup is fantastic. Dissly is a borderline TE1 this week, but just on the outside looking in. If your tight end is on bye there may be a few better options you could have added, but very few are in a better spot than Dissly. He's probably best suited for TE premium leagues this week though.

LAC TE Will Dissly - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Tennessee Titans

The tight end position has been improving steadily over the last few weeks, but unfortunately, things have gotten muddled in Los Angeles now that Hayden Hurst is healthy. Will Dissly is still seeing the majority of targets at tight end, but with Justin Herbert spreading things out effectively he's seen his targets drop the last few weeks.

Thankfully the Titans are hemorrhaging fantasy points to tight ends as they check in 28th aFPA against the position. Dissly is better suited for TE premium leagues this week as you surely have a better options available.

LAC TE Will Dissly - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Cleveland Browns

Will Dissly was tied for the team lead in targets last week with J.K. Dobbins and continues to look like the best receiving option in the tight end room. Dissly turned his 7 targets into 5 catches for 41 yards against a middle-of-the-pack Saints defense.

Unfortunately, it will be a tougher test against the Browns this week as they are 5th aFPA against tight ends this season. Dissly is a TE2 this week and you likely have better options available in standard leagues.

LAC TE Will Dissly - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs New Orleans Saints

It was a surprise to just about everyone that Will Dissly had 11 targets last week against the Cardinals. Dissly finished with 8 targets for 81 yards, but no touchdowns on the week. He returned to practice and should be good to go for Sunday's matchup against the Saints.

Speaking of New Orleans, the Saints are 19th aFPA against tight ends so it is another solid matchup for Dissly. He's still a back-end TE2 in TE premium leagues, but will have more interest in DFS this week.

LAC TE Will Dissly - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Arizona Cardinals

Will Dissly seems to have the advantage over Hayden Hurts right now, but even so, he isn't fantasy-viable right now as the passing game just cannot support multiple options right now.

LAC TE Will Dissly - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Denver Broncos

Will Dissly isn't a top-24 tight end this week and I would not consider him in any format. While Denver is weaker against tight ends, the passing game in Los Angeles is so low volume that it is tough to trust any of the tight ends.

SEA TE Will Dissly - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Carolina Panthers

Will Dissly hasn't had a game with more than 4 targets yet this season and hasn't cracked 30 receiving yards since Week 7. Noah Fant has been getting more involved in the passing game, taking away opportunities for Dissly, who is more of the blocking tight end going forward. Dissly doesn't even need to be rostered at this stage of the game.
