KC WR Xavier Worthy - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16vs. Houston Texans

Xavier Worthy has one of the better days of the season in Week 15 as he saw plenty of opportunities and did well with them. Worthy was targeted a season-high 11 times and also saw three rushing attempts. He finished with 76 total yards and a touchdown. The rookie has become more involved in the offense, but now we'll see how the Chiefs utilize him with the return of Hollywood Brown. The good news is Patrick Mahomes will play Saturday and the Texans are a favorable matchup for Worthy. Houston ranks 29th in fantasy against wide receivers while allowing 19 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers. Worthy is a borderline flex option as we see how the addition of Brown changes things in Kansas City.

KC WR Xavier Worthy - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Cleveland Browns

Xavier Worthy has posted back-to-back games with five catches and has 18 over his last four games, with at least 40 yards in all four. He's been running as the WR2 but the passing offense hasn't been as explosive as we thought it would be, limiting the fantasy upside for Worthy. There's a chance he could break out this week. The Browns rank 23rd in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers and are in the middle of the pack with 18 passing touchdowns allowed. Worthy is a low-end flex option but should get a few catches and maybe a touchdown.

KC WR Xavier Worthy - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Xavier Worthy's seven targets last week were his most since Week 8, also against the Raiders (8). His targets have steadily increased since Week 9 while hovering around 60-70% snaps played. He played the same number of snaps last week as DeAndre Hopkins (42/71) and had his first game with five catches. He had three catches for a season-high 73 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 against the Chargers, and that was when he was still growing into the offense. He should be more accustomed this time around and has some flex appeal, especially if you're in a pinch with bye weeks.

KC WR Xavier Worthy - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Carolina Panthers

The Chiefs got their rookie receiver rolling again last week. Xavier Worthy caught four passes for 61 yards and a touchdown, his 6th score this season (4 receiving, 2 rushing). His 61 yards led the Chiefs in a losing effort. He gets the Panthers this week, a team allowing 24.9 fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers. With DeAndre Hopkins being a bit inconsistent, there's room for opportunity for Worthy this week. He has flex appeal this week.

KC WR Xavier Worthy - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Denver Broncos

It was a forgettable day from a fantasy perspective last week for Xavier Worthy. The rookie didn't catch either of his targets and lost ten yards on his two rushing attempts. He has surpassed 50 yards just once this season. He may soon be competing for targets with JuJu Smith-Schuster. The Chiefs will get Worthy involved, but for now, he's a deeper flex option against the Broncos.

KC WR Xavier Worthy - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Xavier Worthy is starting to become more acclimated with the offense. He has seen eight targets in each of the last two weeks and scored another touchdown in last week's win over the Raiders. With Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown out, Worthy has started taking advantage of the boost in opportunities from Patrick Mahomes. Once DeAndre Hopkins gets going, Worthy will have some pressure taken off of him. This week, he faces one of the bottom pass defenses in the league in Tampa Bay. Worthy is a low-end WR3 with some upside this week.

KC WR Xavier Worthy - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Las Vegas Raiders

DeAndre Hopkins is now in the mix but JuJu Smith-Schuster is out this week with a hamstring injury for Xavier Worthy could still be considered the WR2 in Kansas City. We would like to see more production, of course. Worthy has 25 or fewer receiving yards in four of his last five games.
