IND WR Parris Campbell - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Parris Campbell is now five games removed from his last double-digit half-PPR fantasy outing and the Colts are making another change at quarterback, bringing Nick Foles off the bench. The Chargers rank fifth in aFPA to opposing wide receivers, making this a tough matchup on top of usage and quarterback concerns. Sit Campbell.

IND WR Parris Campbell - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Minnesota Vikings

Parris Campbell caught four of his five targets for 43 yards against the Cowboys before the bye last week. He has been a steady part of the offense, particularly with Matt Ryan behind center, so he has upside as a deep-league option in the right matchup. He’s risky, however, with very little production to go with his snaps and targets - just three games with double-digit half-PPR fantasy points this season.

This week, Campbell faces a vulnerable Vikings defense that ranks dead last in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Campbell is super risky, but he has some dart-throw upside in a great matchup. We have him ranked outside starter territory in all leagues, but in deeper formats, if you’re desperate, he has some boom-bust potential.

IND WR Parris Campbell - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Dallas Cowboys

Parris Campbell was held to just 14 yards on a pair of receptions on Monday night against the Steelers. He’s been inconsistent this season, overall, but has been better over the second half. Still, it’s too risky to have him in lineups as this Colts offense is run-focused and struggling heavily to put up consistent points. We have him ranked well outside WR3 territory this week. Sit him.

IND WR Parris Campbell - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Parris Campbell has been solid with Matt Ryan under center, and he caught five balls for 67 yards last week in a close loss to the Eagles. Campbell has 38 targets over the last four games with Ryan at quarterback, and he’s scored three total touchdowns in those outings. Campbell has a great matchup this week and though we have him conservatively ranked outside WR3 territory, he’s worth the risk in deeper leagues as a boom-or-bust option.

IND WR Parris Campbell - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Parris Campbell floundered with Sam Ehlinger at quarterback, but he was back to solid numbers last week with Matt Ryan under center. He caught seven of his nine targets for 76 yards and a touchdown as the Colts dispatched the Raiders.

Campbell has a tough matchup against the Eagles this week, who rank fifth in aFPA to opposing wide receivers, but he’s a risky option given his volatile production over his career and the struggles of the Colts’ offense this season. Still, with bye weeks and injuries plaguing the position, consider Campbell a sneaky WR3 option.

IND WR Parris Campbell - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Las Vegas Raiders

After a nice game in Week 7, Parris Campbell has floundered with Sam Ehlinger at quarterback. He’s caught just four balls for 58 yards over his last two games combined, though he did have five targets last week. Campbell has a great matchup this week, but there’s nothing in Indianapolis to make us think they can sustain more than one (even one?) fantasy wide receiver. Campbell should stay on the bench.

IND WR Parris Campbell - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at New England Patriots

Parris Campbell followed up a nice Week 7 with just two catches and 43 yards last week against the Commanders. Until we see exactly how the targets are going to shake out with Sam Ehlinger under center, it’s hard to trust any of the Colts’ secondary receivers, so fantasy managers should take a wait-and-see approach with the talented Campbell. Sit him for now.
