Week 12 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, Tommy DeVito is back in our lives. As of this writing, the Giants have officially released Daniel Jones clearing the deck for the Devito Era.

He's our QB19 this week. DeVito did manage to throw for seven touchdowns in six starts last year. He only managed to crack 200 passing yards one time in that stretch, though. DeVito is a fine start in superflex but that's it.

Week 16 at Philadelphia Eagles

Tommy DeVito struggled against the Saints and had to leave with a head injury at one point during the game. Brian Daboll says he’s just sore, so fantasy managers should monitor the situation carefully. If he’s healthy, he has a little upside against the Eagles this week. Philadelphia ranks 28th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. Still, DeVito and the Giants offense are hard to trust during fantasy playoff time, and managers should look elsewhere if possible.

Week 15 at New Orleans Saints

Tommy DeVito hasn’t looked terrible! The 25-year-old rookie out of Illinois has won three straight starts now and tossed five touchdowns to zero interceptions during that time. He also ran for 71 yards against the Packers on Monday night.

This week, DeVito faces a Saints defense that ranks 11th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. In a difficult matchup, it’s hard to trust DeVito in lineups, but fantasy managers in SuperFlex leagues should definitely consider rostering him in case those rushing numbers continue. We have him ranked as a fringe-QB2 option this week.

NYG QB Tommy DeVito - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Green Bay Packers

Tommy DeVito had led the Giants to two straight victories, and now has four touchdowns passes and zero interceptions over his last two games. He had 191 yards and a touchdown in a slugfest against the Patriots before the bye last week, and he continues to show moderate levels of improvement each week. The Packers rank 11th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks and have been playing extra well lately, so it’s risky to bank on DeVito in most fantasy leagues. We have him ranked as a low-end QB2 option in a tough matchup.
