NO TE Taysom Hill - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs Cleveland Browns

Taysom Hill is our TE7 in Week 11. It's been an inconsistent year for Hill. He's lived in the six to nine-touch range in the games he's been active. He's averaging about 50 yards from scrimmage over the last three weeks and has found the end zone once in that span.

He should be in your lineup but get ready to ride the roller coaster.

Week 10 vs Atlanta Falcons

Taysom Hill saw his highest usage in Week 9. He turned nine touches into 60 yards from scrimmage and a trip to the end zone.

He's our TE9 and should be in fantasy lineups this week.

Taysom Hill is our TE16. If you have a read on what will happen with Hill I'm assuming you also own a crystal ball.

He'll likely see his customary half-dozen touches against this weekend. It all comes down to finding the end zone with Hill.

NO TE Taysom Hill - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Atlanta Falcons

Taysom Hill missed Week 3 with a bruised lung. It's hard to trust him even when he's on the field. With an average of four carries and 1.5 targets per game, he shouldn't be on your fantasy radar unless there's a role change.

Hill is our TE20 this week. He's not startable outside of the deepest leagues or if you have to start two tight ends.

NO TE Taysom Hill - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Dallas Cowboys

Taysom Hill wasn't too involved in the passing game, but given the gamescript that isn't surprising. Hill was given a handful of carries which he turned into 35 yards. Those were primarily short-yardage carries meant to gain the first down and not much more.

If you're playing him, you're banking on a touchdown. He's our TE12 but hopefully better options are already on your roster.

Week 1 vs Carolina Panthers

Taysom Hill is officially a tight end, for now, at least. He had a career year as a receiver, tallying 291 yards on 40 targets. Hill also found the endzone a half-dozen times in 2023.

Hill has a chance to score a touchdown week in and week out, which is good enough for a tight end most weeks. He comes in as our TE13 this week, putting him right on the edge of the roster bubble in most leagues.

NO TE Taysom Hill - 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside

Taysom Hill is an interesting case study year in and year out. We'll ignore the positional eligibility debate and just look at Hill the tight end. We have Hill as the TE13 at the moment. Depending on what you think of Alvin Kamara, that might be a bit high but the upside case here is that Kamara isn't going to stay on the field and Hill becomes the de facto goal line back. It's easy to see a path to a Top 10 finish if that were the case.

Fantasy Downside

The downside here is that Juwan Johnson takes all of the receiving work and Kamara stays healthy. If that happens, Hill is a disastrous pick at any ADP and will be an easy drop candidate.

2024 Bottom Line

The bottom line on Hill is that it's hard to get excited about him. With a ceiling of a back-end TE starter and a floor where he's not on your team by October, he's an easy pass in redraft, barring weird positional eligibility.
