Week 15 at Buffalo Bills
Chuba Hubbard had 10 carries for 33 yards and a touchdown last week against the Falcons. It was nice to see him get in, but if you take out his 17-yard touchdown run, you end up with just nine carries for 16 yards. Hubbard has been a borderline RB2 option in the games Christian McCaffrey has been out, but with the struggling Carolina offense, the vulture factor of Cam Newton and the terrible offensive line, it’s hard to think Hubbard has a very high ceiling.
This week, Hubbard faces a Bills defense that ranks 19th in aFPA to opposing running backs. The Panthers aren’t an offense you want to bank on for the rest of the season, and Hubbard is no exception. With Newton vulturing touchdowns on the regular, it limits Hubbard’s upside. Still, with his workload, he has flex potential. Just don’t expect much.
