Scouting report

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Calvin Ridley is on a tear since DeAndre Hopkins was traded to Kansas City. Ridley has posted lines of 10-143, 5-73 and 5-84 in the last three games. He also added two touchdowns last week against the Chargers. Tennessee is likely going to have to throw against the Vikings, which will play right into Ridley's favor. Ridley has worked his way back into WR2 territory. The Vikings are allowing the 5th-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Los Angeles Chargers

In two games since DeAndre Hopkins was traded to the Chiefs, Calvin Ridley has recorded 15 catches for 216 yards on 23 targets. The only thing missing is a touchdown, which Ridley has had since Week 2. But now that he's the clear WR1 for Will Levis, that touchdown should come sooner rather than later. He does have a tough matchup this week against a Chargers defense that is just outside the top ten against the pass.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. New England Patriots

Calvin Ridley had his breakout party last week against the Lions, catching 10 passes for 143 yards. He entered the game with 12 total catches for the season. Not having DeAndre Hopkins almost forces Mason Rudolph or Will Levis to feed the ball to Ridley. That's a good sign for his fantasy value. He gets the Patriots this week who still are allowing the 10th-most passing yards per game at 223.5. Ridley is back up as a WR2 this week.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Detroit Lions

By default, Calvin Ridley is back to being the WR1 in Tennessee now that DeAndre Hopkins is in Kansas City. Of course, that's not saying much given the quarterback struggles in Tennessee, whether it's Will Levis or Mason Rudolph. Ridley is also dealing with a foot injury. Ridley hasn't reached 50 yards in a game since Week 2 and has just five total catches in his last three games, including the shutout in Week 6. Ridley is at least back to Flex consideration given he is the top receiver for Rudolph and the Lions have been up and down against the pass, so Ridley may steal a score Sunday.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Calvin Ridley went into the bye week on a hushed note. He had just two catches for 14 yards the two games before the bye. If there's a week to bounce back, it's this week as Ridley faces a Colts pass defense that ranks 29th in passing yards allowed. The quarterback position is a question mark. Ridley is a low-end WR3.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Miami Dolphins

One catch, nine years. That was Calvin Ridley's stat line in Week 3 against the Packers. Ridley is being held back by the major struggles for quarterback Will Levis. But Levis still needs someone to throw to and Ridley is his main target. Then there's this, per NFL Next Gen Stats, Ridley is accounting for 48% of the Titans' air yards this season. Ridley is a flex play this week.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Green Bay Packers

Calvin Ridley had a solid day last week against the Jets with four catches for 77 yards (including a highlight catch against two defenders) and a touchdown. Three of those catches came against Jets CB Sauce Gardner. He's the top option in Tennessee, but his ceiling will be limited due to the quarterback situation. Ridley is still flex-worthy against a Packers defense that has been a favorable matchup for opposing fantasy wide receivers through two weeks (No. 23-hardest in our matchup rankings).
