Scouting report

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Calvin Ridley had less than 50 yards for the firs time since Week 7, but his target share remains pretty healthy. He saw seven targets last week but only hauled in two catches for 45 yards. He has a very good opportunity to bounce back this week. The Jaguars rank 29th in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers and boast the league's worst passing defense. Only one team (Texans - 26) have allowed more passing touchdowns than Jacksonville's 24.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Washington Commanders

That's five straight games with at least 50 yards and four out of five with at least 70 yards for Calvin Ridley, who reached 93 yards on five catches in Tennessee's upset win over Houston. Tennessee is starting to spread the ball a bit more, particularly with the recent emergence of Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. But the passing game still runs through Ridley. He's a solid WR2 again this week against the Commanders.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Houston Texans

Calvin Ridley had 58 yards on four catches last week in what was a tough matchup against the Vikings. The matchup gets easier this week. The Texans rank 22nd in fantasy points allowed per game to wide receivers and have allowed 16 touchdowns to receivers, the most in the league. Ridley is a strong WR2 as he is still on a nice stretch of 50+ yards in four straight games.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Calvin Ridley is on a tear since DeAndre Hopkins was traded to Kansas City. Ridley has posted lines of 10-143, 5-73 and 5-84 in the last three games. He also added two touchdowns last week against the Chargers. Tennessee is likely going to have to throw against the Vikings, which will play right into Ridley's favor. Ridley has worked his way back into WR2 territory. The Vikings are allowing the 5th-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Los Angeles Chargers

In two games since DeAndre Hopkins was traded to the Chiefs, Calvin Ridley has recorded 15 catches for 216 yards on 23 targets. The only thing missing is a touchdown, which Ridley has had since Week 2. But now that he's the clear WR1 for Will Levis, that touchdown should come sooner rather than later. He does have a tough matchup this week against a Chargers defense that is just outside the top ten against the pass.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. New England Patriots

Calvin Ridley had his breakout party last week against the Lions, catching 10 passes for 143 yards. He entered the game with 12 total catches for the season. Not having DeAndre Hopkins almost forces Mason Rudolph or Will Levis to feed the ball to Ridley. That's a good sign for his fantasy value. He gets the Patriots this week who still are allowing the 10th-most passing yards per game at 223.5. Ridley is back up as a WR2 this week.

TEN WR Calvin Ridley - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Detroit Lions

By default, Calvin Ridley is back to being the WR1 in Tennessee now that DeAndre Hopkins is in Kansas City. Of course, that's not saying much given the quarterback struggles in Tennessee, whether it's Will Levis or Mason Rudolph. Ridley is also dealing with a foot injury. Ridley hasn't reached 50 yards in a game since Week 2 and has just five total catches in his last three games, including the shutout in Week 6. Ridley is at least back to Flex consideration given he is the top receiver for Rudolph and the Lions have been up and down against the pass, so Ridley may steal a score Sunday.
