Sources: The Patriots are trading TE Jonnu Smith to the Falcons, as a former big-ticket free agent heads elsewhere and creates space for New England.

Fantasy Impact:

Smith is reunited with his former coach, Arthur Smith. In his last season in Tennessee, Smith posted 41-448-8 on 65 targets and was the fantasy TE11. Don't expect those numbers with Kyle Pitts soaking up most of the tight end targets.

Week 11 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

It might be time to welcome Jonnu Smith to the TE1 conversation every week. Maybe last week won't convince you after he went 3-45-0 on 4 targets, but he was tied with Tyreek Hill in targets and now gets the Raiders this week.

Las Vegas is 24th aFPA against tight ends, but have been crushed by tight ends the last two weeks. Travis Kelce (TE4) and Mike Gesicki (TE1) both went off against the Raiders and as Smith's role has expanded, he could be in line for a really good day. He's a borderline TE1 this week and is a must in TE premium leagues.
