DraftKings Week 14 Slate Breakdown with Cash and GPP Picks

Below you'll find my Week 14 DraftKings cash game and tournament strategies. By offering a general approach to the week, along with a player pool to consider, you should walk away feeling well-equipped no matter your bankroll strategy or game selection process.

Sunday Morning Update: The only change in my thoughts below are obviously the New York Giants pass-catchers. Sterling Shepard becomes a solid cash game value with Odell Beckham Jr not expected to suit up. The problem is that we weren't starving for value on this slate, so he's not exactly necessary. He, Coutland Sutton, and Zay Jones are all around the same for me. It definitely looks like a studs and duds type week with multiple options below $5,000.

Main Slate Cash Game Strategy

Quarterback

Ben Roethlisberger ($6,800) finds himself in a very similar situation to Patrick Mahomes last week. He's headed on the road to face the 21st-ranked Raiders in terms of schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. Additionally, he also will be without his top workhorse running back as Mahomes was. If you read my Sunday morning update, I advised getting onto Mahomes coupled with Ware because I thought that Ware was a tremendous value, but also that Mahomes would shoulder more of the offensive load without the stud running back in the lineup. I feel the same way for Roethlisberger this week. He's my favorite pay up quarterback this week as the Steelers have a 32-point projected total and are nearly two-touchdown favorites. I have no doubt the Steelers can go into Oakland and hang four or five touchdowns on the Raiders—when that happens it's likely Roethlisberger has a monster game. Pairing him up with Jaylen Samuels, as we paired Mahomes and Ware, is a smart idea to scoop all the Steelers production for around $10,000.
