In this space each week, I’ll give my overall FanDuel cash game and tournament strategy thoughts and discuss how players fit into these strategies. Main Slate Cash Game Strategy
Quarterback
Two quarterbacks facing off in the same game—Patrick Mahomes ($8,900) and Jimmy Garoppolo ($7,400)—project as top-three values at their position. In a game where both teams are projected to score over 25 points, these quarterbacks will feed off of each other against defenses that both rank in the bottom 10 in fantasy points allowed to opposing passers over the first two weeks, the Chiefs being the worst. Mahomes offers the best odds to hit cash value at his position—by a wide margin—but Jimmy G comes at a $1,500 discount.
