It’s Week 6 and these are my FanDuel cash game and tournament strategies. By offering a general approach to the week, along with a player pool to consider, you should walk away feeling well-equipped no matter your bankroll strategy or game selection process.
Main Slate Cash Game Strategy
Quarterback
The top two quarterback values of the week are facing off in a game with an over/under of 57.5 and a spread of just 3.5. Jameis Winston ($7,400) is priced as the QB11 against a Falcons defense that ranks 27th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) to quarterbacks. Matt Ryan ($8,300) is almost $1,000 more than Winston but the price gap is warranted–no defenses have allowed more fantasy points per attempt than Tampa Bay, by a wide margin, and the Falcons throw at the fifth-highest rate in neutral situations (game within a touchdown) of any offense.
