DraftKings Week 6 Slate Breakdown with Cash and GPP Picks

Below you'll find my Week 6 DraftKings cash game and tournament strategies. By offering a general approach to the week, along with a player pool to consider, you should walk away feeling well-equipped no matter your bankroll strategy or game selection process.

*Update* - Chase Edmonds is far and away my preference at value if David Johnson can't go, but Malcolm Brown with Todd Gurley out provides nice point per dollar opportuity as well. A good idea would be to make sure you leave enough money to swap to Edmonds if Johnson somehow is unexpectedly ruled out. You can leave the $300 on the table outright, or have a 2v2 swap ready, either way make sure to be paying attention to the inactives startig at 2:30 EST.

Byron Pringle is an option as well if you need a super cheap option, provided Sammy Watkins and Tyreek Hill are both ruled out. He posted a 6/100/1 line last week in a game the Chiefs only scored 19 points. If he has the same usage this week, he could smash in a game that projects to be high scoring

Alvin Kamara popped up on the injury report, Latavius Murray is automatically in play if he's the lead back.

Main Slate Cash Game Strategy

Quarterback

Matt Ryan ($6,400) should probably be the most expensive quarterback on the board. He has thrown for three touchdowns in three-of-five games this season all while never falling below the 300-yard mark. I can't see this being the week he doesn't eclipse 300 yards as the Cardinals' secondary will be the weakest he's faced. That means he's basically got a floor of 15 points. The Falcons' run game is non-existent, so Ryan will have to sling the ball all over the place as he has in every game this season. Additionally, he gets the Cardinals' possession bump. The Cardinals play so fast, and often poorly and fast, that opponents are running more plays and getting more possessions than normal. Ryan will be the chalk favorite this week and for good reason.
