Quarterbacks
As is typical with quarterbacks on FanDuel, we’re seeing a majority of the top values coalesce around two main salary tiers: the very top and the very bottom of the salary pool.
Lamar Jackson ($8,200), despite playing a Chargers’ defense that ranks fourth in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) to opposing quarterbacks, still towers over the rest of the field in our value metric and is the only quarterback projected for 3x his salary (denoted by the ‘Pts/$1K’ column in our DFS optimizer.) The Chargers were gashed on the ground a week ago, only solidifying Jackson’s rushing expectations.
