Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 4: Musgrave a Must Start
Week 3 of the NFL season delivered the type of eye-popping results we’ve come to expect. From teams scoring 70 points to undefeated teams falling in matchups we thought would be runaway victories, all the way down to the tight end position, where Pharaoh Brown nearly paced the entire position in fantasy points, and Jimmy Graham found the end zone in a Saints uniform like it was 2014 all over again.
We won’t be chasing those performances here in this space, but we will look to replicate those successes with signal points elsewhere in the league.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

Week 3 Recap
During a game without Jaylen Waddle, in an offense that scored 70 real-life points, Durham Smythe managed to score 2.0 fantasy points. That does a pretty decent job of describing how streaming tight ends went in Week 3, but we did manage to peg two TE1s on the week, and sometimes, that’s all you can ask for from the position.
