Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Week 8: Carr Finds a Soft Spot in the Schedule
Our first of two giant bye weeks are past us, and fantasy managers made it out relatively unscathed. Luckily—particularly for fantasy managers streaming the onesie positions—we have zero bye weeks on our hands ahead of Week 8, which will make things much easier while combing the waiver wires. There are far more high-scoring projected affairs ahead of us this week, and far fewer weather concerns, giving us some ripe opportunities for fantasy success.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

Week 7 Recap
Outside of Sam Howell looking like maybe the worst quarterback in the National Football League, we had a pretty decent run of things last week, including two QB1 performances from our streamers. While Howell ran face-first into every blitzer who entered his pocket, Derek Carr eclipsed 300 yards passing for the third time this season, and Joshua Dobbs saved his poor passing performance by running for 40+ yards and a touchdown.
Let’s find us a couple more QB1s on the waiver wire ahead of Week 8.
