How to Find a Good DFS Contrarian Play at Running Back

What do RBs who post big DFS scores at low ownership have in common?
To find out, I looked at data for all RBs owned 6% or less that appeared in first-place DraftKings Millionaire Maker or FanDuel Sunday Million lineups over the past two years. It's not a huge sample by any means, but it was enough to spot some common themes in regard to salary, matchup, Vegas lines, home/road splits, projected ranking, and projected touches.
Below I present tables containing data on each RB with bulleted highlights underneath, and then I sum everything up by putting together a "contrarian RB profile" and noting actionable takeaways at the end.
