Bears QB Caleb Williams 'a little bruised up' after SNF

After the game, Caleb Williams went the understated route when asked about the pummeling he took from the Texans defense.

“A little bruised up,” Williams said, via Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports. “You know, I took a couple hits today. I’m gonna get into the ice tub and do all the things I need to do to make sure that my body’s ready for tomorrow, practice on the other days and obviously next game.”

Fantasy Impact:

Williams was sacked seven times and hit 11 times in the 19-13 loss to the Texans, the story pointed out. And, it added he was pressured plenty of other times as the Texans blitzed relentlessly, which contributed to interceptions on back-to-back drives in the second half and the Bears had four three-and-outs over the course of the evening.

Browns plan to sign free agent running back Royce Freeman to the practice squad.

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman did pretty well when he saw action with the Rams toward the end of last season. He was with Dallas this summer where he drew some hype, and for about a week the team had us convinced he may see significant action for the Cowboys. However, he was eventually released.

Packers place RB MarShawn Lloyd on IR

Packers are placing rookie RB MarShawn Lloyd on injured reserve due to an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Lloyd dealt with a hamstring injury leading up to the season and has now injured his ankle enough to be placed on IR, and he'll miss the next four games. The team did sign Brooks from their practice squad but Wilson looks to be the backup to Jacobs.
