Bucs' 3rd receiver slot still up in the air

Thanks to a lack of consistency by the combatants, the Bucs don't have a good read yet on who their third wide receiver will be, either.

The leader of that race seems to be Brian Clark, but Clark hasn't performed all that well in practice. The opposite is true of Maurice Stovall, who has looked good in practice but disappeared during last week's game at Tennessee.

The inconsistency has created an opportunity for the likes of Sammie Stroughter, Mario Urrutia and Cortez Hankton, but none have truly seized the opportunity yet, according to Bucs coach Raheem Morris.

"I need somebody to step up," Morris said. "Somebody has to step up on third downs and say I'm going to be the man you need to double team out of those two guys or if you leave me open, I'm going to win.
