Colts Anthony Gonzalez looking good

While a few players still on the mend from injury or offseason surgery might open camp on the physically unable to perform list, the vast majority of Colts will suit up. That apparently includes receiver Anthony Gonzalez.

Gonzalez suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Colts' 2009 opener. He participated in some organized team activities earlier this year but was sidelined by a hamstring injury.

Quarterback Peyton Manning spent a portion of his summer working out in Tennessee and was joined by Gonzalez and receiver Austin Collie. He offered rave reviews for Gonzalez's readiness for camp.

Gonzalez, Manning said, "wanted to get down there and get some reps. He and I had three really good days of throwing. I thought he looked good, thought he looked quick. He had a good burst on all his routes.

Fantasy Impact:

Gonzalez isn't on a lot of radars right now but if he wins the slot job could have fantasy value in leagues that start three receivers or use a flex. We're a long way from that, though, but keep an eye on him.
