Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks to miss "at least" this week

The Cowboys will be without WR Brandin Cooks for at least this week vs. Pittsburgh and potentially longer after an infection developed in his right knee following a procedure he had after remaining in NY following the win against the Giants, according to multiple sources.

Fantasy Impact:

Cooks looked as if he were set up to get a ton of work in this pass-heavy option, but it never came to fruition, as he turned 19 targets into a 9-91-1 stat line. The aging speed merchant might not return to his role if either of the Jalens can step up, and is now a drop candidate who we can aim for later in the year if he does happen to regain the de facto WR2 role.

For this week, consider Tolbert a deep Flex play, while CeeDee Lamb and Jake Ferguson should be started everywhere.

Falcons RB Bijan Robinson (hamstring) listed as limited Tuesday

The Falcons’ injury report for Tuesday is the same as the one they handed in on Monday.

Running back Bijan Robinson (hamstring) and right tackle Kaleb McGary (knee) are both listed as limited participants for the second straight day. The Falcons have not held a full practice session yet this week, so their participation level has been an estimate both times.

Fantasy Impact:

It remains good news that Robinson is at least limited, which hopefully gives him a chance to play on a short week on Thursday night. Tomorrow's injury report will hopefully give us a little more indication about his status for TNF. If Allgeier is on your wire he should be picked up.

Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) tracking toward playing Week 5

Austin Ekeler just told us on Grant & Danny that he is tracking toward being able to play on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Ekeler missed Week 4 but it sounds like he expects to be back on the field against the Browns. The post went on to say Ekeler said he's feeling more like himself as he completes the steps of the concussion protocol. The return of Ekeler likely means less work for McNichols who had a great game in Week 4 in Arizona.

Dolphins plan to start Tyler Huntley at QB in Week 5

Plan is for Tyler Huntley to start again for Dolphins at QB Sunday vs. Patriots, per HC Mike McDaniel.

Fantasy Impact:

It wasn't good in Week 4 but the Dolphins don't really have any other option other than Boyle. No one on the Dolphin offense can really be trusted in fantasy lineups and it seemed like the Titans took away the run game daring Huntley to beat them, which didn't happen. The Dolphins have a bye in Week 6 and Tua is rumored to be back for Week 8, so those holding fantasy players on the Dolphins will need some patience over the next several weeks.
