Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel confirms that QB Tua Tagovailoa is expected to play again in 2024.

Fantasy Impact:

As the post said, it's the first time the team has said Tagovailoa will be back this season. Tua is still on Injured Reserve, however, but eligible to resume practicing on Oct. 23. There has been talk about a Week 8 return but that remains to be seen. All reports over the last several weeks is Tua is feeling good and much improved. In Week 8, the Dolphins are hosting Cardinals in an early game, so hopefully by that point we have a better idea of Tua's timetable.

Coach Dennis Allen announces that Rashid Shaheed will undergo surgery on his meniscus, and during the surgery, it will be determined if he has the full repair or the trim.

The full repair would mean his season is over.

Fantasy Impact:

Miserable news for a player who had been contributing in many aspects, including special teams. Spencer Rattler's skill position group is being sniped by injuries, which makes the entire team a strong fade for fantasy purposes.

Jets HC Jeff Ulbrich confirmed that WR Davante Adams — who has missed the past three games due to a hamstring injury — is expected to play Sunday vs. the Steelers.

It shouldn't take much time for Adams to get heavily involved in the offensive gameplan, with literally hundreds of targets from Aaron Rodgers on his resume. Though this is a tough matchup against the Steelers' defense, targets should be funneled to Adams and Wilson from the get-go. Put both of them in WR2 consideration this week.
