The Cardinals have activated WR Zay Jones to the 53-man roster.

The Cards suspended Jones for five games but he didn't return in Week 6 due to a hamstring injury. With Harrison dealing with a concussion, the Cards could possibly welcome the return of Jones to the lineup rather quickly. The WR group didn't do much for the Cardinals in Week 6 as Dortch went for 3-36-0 and Wilson 2-21-1. Jones is worth a pickup with the hope he climbs the depth chart and perhaps carves out a WR2 role.

This likely eradicates any worries about Wilson being the WR2, but that may have been inevitable regardless. He should be in the WR4/5 range for fantasy drafters.

This is a nice, solid signing by the Cardinals, who are giving QB Kyler Murray a lot to work with in 2024. Jones missed a lot of time last year with multiple injuries but managed to hit eight or more targets in each of his final three games with the Jaguars. He makes for an interesting late-round dart throw this season.

WR Hollywood Brown will go on IR with heel injury. Ends Brown’s season.

QB Kyler Murray will be back at practice today and should be fine to play Sunday.

With Brown out here in Week 17, the best way to use the Cardinals receiving group is to just stick with Trey McBride and ignore the rest.

Cardinals WR Marquise Brown will not play Sunday in Chicago, coach Jonathan Gannon said.

He also said CB Garrett Williams and CB Bobby Price won’t play, as well.

Hollywood Brown popped for 12 targets and 88 yards back in Week 12 but has combined for a total of 60 snaps, three targets, and zero receptions in the two following games. It will be difficult to trust him for the rest of the season in fantasy.

In open part of Cardinals practice, WR Hollywood Brown was not out there. Jonathan Gannon said earlier they need a healthy Brown "to help us win."

Hollywood Brown popped for 12 targets and 88 yards back in Week 12 but has combined for a total of 60 snaps, three targets, and zero receptions in the two following games. Even if he is cleared ahead of Week 16, it will be nearly impossible to trust him in the fantasy Semi-Finals.

The last time we saw Hollywood Brown was in Week 13, when he received one target on 20 routes, which he did not haul in. Trey McBride has morphed into the No. 1 receiving option on the Cardinals, and already has a nice rapport with Kyler Murray. No other receiving options should be started unless we have a full clearance soon for Brown.

It's looking like the Arizona receiving group could be in flux this week, with Michael Wilson already declared out and Marquise Brown needing a little help to suit up. With Trey McBride returning to practice on Friday, he could be in for a very healthy Week 13 workload.

Jonathan Gannon: WR Michael Wilson, CB Starling Thomas, CB Antonio Hamilton will not play Sunday. Everyone else is TBD, including Hollywood Brown, Trey McBride.

With Wilson missing Week 12, Greg Dortch was targeted nine times, and although he caught a touchdown, he gained only 27 yards on three receptions. The jury's still out on Marquise Brown's availability, but he should be the only receiver we are concerned about in most fantasy lineups.

Things are trending in a poor direction for the Cardinals offense this week, ahead of a tough Steelers matchup. Missing both guys would further put the squeeze on Kyler Murray's fantasy value, as he's already playing behind a suspect offensive line. Dortch and Moore could both be in line for desperation FLEX options.
