Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman (glute) took full practice reps on Friday after being limited earlier in the week.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring, out) took limited practice reps Wednesday. With Watkins out, Demarcus Robinson, Mecole Hardman and Byron Pringle will continue to rotate in.

With Hill out 4-6 weeks, Mecole Hardman likely steps into a bigger role as the WR2, with Sammy Watkins being elevated to the WR1 role. Hardman had a goose egg against the Jaguars even though Hill left the game early. The good news is he played 78% of the snaps and his skill set seems to be a direct replacement for Hill’s in the offense. Remember, the Chiefs drafted Hardman while it looked like Hill might be suspended, and the team traded up to get him, which shows intent.
