Potential very good news for those planning to play Mariota. He likely won't be 100-percent. Of course, we may not officially know until inactives are posted an hour and a half before game time on Monday.

Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota has been listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against the Colts.

Mariota practiced on a limited basis throughout the week. The team is scheduled to practice again on Saturday night, but the team submitted an Injury Report to the league with Mariota’s projected playing status in advance.

With the Titans submitting an Injury Report before the final practice of the week, hopefully we will get a better indication after Saturday's practice and before Sunday lineup locks for Mariota's Monday night status. With Jacoby Brissett available in many leagues, that would be a convenient back-up option in this Colts-Titans game.

Titans QB Marcus Mariota (hamstring) returned to practice on Friday, and while he's been able to do more on the field each practice session, he's most likely going to be a game-time decision.

Whoever starts at QB for the Titans on Monday Night versus the Colts—Mariota or Matt Cassel—has a great matchup. In fact, according to our aFPA metrics, it's the third-best matchup of the week.

We have Cassel ranked as our No. 24 QB for the week, but, in the event Mariota is out, the better pivot would be to stream Jacoby Brissett in an even better matchup.

Following the team's Wednesday practice, Titans QB Marcus Mariota said he hopes to return to the field this week against the Colts.

“I feel a lot better,” Mariota relayed to reporters. “I have to give a lot of credit to the athletic staff, the training staff here. They’ve done a great job, and I am feeling good.”

Mariota responded with "absolutely" when asked by reporters if he feels good about playing this week. While he doesn't have the final say in the matter, it's a good sign how optimistic Mariota feels about playing this week. The Titans and fantasy players sure could use him. If Mariota does play he'll return in time to play in one of the best matchups of the week versus a Colts team allowing the second-most fantasy points to the quarterback position at a clip of 20.8 points per game.
