MIN: QB Rosenfels says ankle tweak no big deal

hat was even more impressive about Sage Rosenfels' play Friday night is that he did most of it after tweaking his right ankle early in the first drive.

On the fourth play of the exhibition game at Indianapolis, the Vikings quarterback was under pressure from Colts defensive tackle Eric Foster. He got the ball off, completing a pass to Bobby Wade, but immediately after the ball left Rosenfels' hand, Foster inadvertently stepped on his foot.

Rosenfels continued to play, and after Chester Taylor finished the drive with a touchdown run, Rosenfels had his ankle taped and returned for another series.

Rosenfels said after the game that he was fine and that the tweak wasn't a big deal.

"I'll be all right and be ready for next week," he said.
