The Giants are trading WR Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs for a third-round compensatory pick and a 2023 sixth-round pick.

This trade affects a number of players, but to what extent remains to be seen. Toney had clearly had a falling out with the new coaching regime, and trade rumors began to swirl almost immediately. The 2021 first-round pick has been sidelined for almost the entirety of this season, though the team continued to site health issues as the major reason he'd only appeared in one and a half games. Rookie Skyy Moore has received only 11 targets through six games and has yet to run 15 routes in any single game, so they may plug Toney into the role they were hoping to mold Moore into.

Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, who's listed as questionable with quad and hamstring injuries, is expected to play tonight against the Raiders.

The target distribution outside of Travis Kelce is hard to swallow, but Smith-Schuster remains the best WR option for fantasy as long as he is on the field. If you kept him in your Flex spot throughout the weekend, hoping he would play, he should deliver a solid floor on MNF.

The Chiefs selected Skyy Moore in the second round of this year’s draft and it seemed like he could be a significant early contributor to the team’s offense.

But instead, Moore has mostly been a punt returner — and even that is a job where he could use some improvement. Moore muffed the first punt of Sunday’s loss to the Colts, which set up an Indianapolis touchdown.

Moore has made only one catch so far — a 30-yard grab against the Cardinals in Week 1. He played only two offensive snaps in the Week 2 victory over the Chargers and eight offensive snaps in Sunday’s loss to the Colts. HC Andy Reid was quoted in the story as saying Moore's "time will come."

The Chiefs say TE Blake Bell (hip), DE Carlos Dunlap, CB Rashad Fenton (groin), RB Derrick Gore (thumb), OL Lucas Niang (knee) and WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) will not practice today.

That means WR Mecole Hardman and DT Chris Jones should be back to work.

We already have Moore listed third on the depth chart in terms of fantasy. Hardman is expected to open as the team's WR3 but it's likely only a matter of time before Moore passes him and is the more fantasy-relevant option.

Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman, who was carted off the practice field today, is being evaluated for a possible groin injury, according to a source.

Hardman is likely behind JuJu, MVS and the rookie Moore, but anyone in this offense who sees regular time can be fantasy-worthy. If Hardman were to miss time, it likely means Moore benefits the most as the two seemed to be battling for the team's WR3 spot.

It's great news for the Chiefs and Moore owners. Moore's injury Tuesday didn't look good on the video that was tweeted out, but later in the day Moore said he was "okay" after the injury.

A video tweeted earlier in the day saw Moore drop a pass but go down with what was later determined to be a hip injury. It didn't look good but Moore at least says he's okay at this point. We can't always trust players but this seems like good news.

I’ll just say this now. After watching two days of practice. The coaches film doesn’t do justice to what Skyy Moore does on a football field in person. The Dude is so fun to watch. The way he competes and attacks the ball.

Ron Kopp Jr. tweeted the following: "Juju on Skyy Moore: 'He's going to help us out a lot inside, outside, I could see him playing running back too. Just cause he's got that in him.'" Kopp then speculated Moore could be used in some kind of RB/WR hybrid role, similar to Deebo Samuel. Moore is ranked 51st on our WR list but anyone in the Chiefs offense can certainly put up fantasy numbers. Moore could be a guy to stash late in redraft leagues.

In an offseason with change at wide receiver, the Kansas City Chiefs may have an under-the-radar signing working out so far this offseason.

WR Justin Watson signed with K.C. prior to the Tyreek Hill trade, but showed flashes during OTAs. “He’s been a pleasant surprise for me,” Mahomes said. “That dude can roll. He came down to Texas. I threw with him the first day, and I called (general manager Brett) Veach and I was like, ‘Wait, how fast is this guy?’ He was running so fast that I was late on my throws. He’s had two great days.”

Watson could not get on the field for offensive snaps in Tampa Bay, but finds himself going from the G.O.A.T. to a QB who is well on his way to challenging for that title. Unlike in Chicago or Atlanta where being a wideout gets you onto the field, competing in Kansas City is great for Watson's personal growth and worst-case, great audition film for his next team.

Watson has dynasty appeal for now, but with so much unknown in K.C., his fantasy value could skyrocket.
