Packers are placing rookie RB MarShawn Lloyd on injured reserve due to an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Lloyd dealt with a hamstring injury leading up to the season and has now injured his ankle enough to be placed on IR, and he'll miss the next four games. The team did sign Brooks from their practice squad but Wilson looks to be the backup to Jacobs.

Freeman did pretty well when he saw action with the Rams toward the end of last season. He was with Dallas this summer where he drew some hype, and for about a week the team had us convinced he may see significant action for the Cowboys. However, he was eventually released.

We just reported a story where Tua hadn't been ruled out yet, and some around the league thought he had a chance to play in Week 8. As unrealistic as that seemed, the door seemed to be open. However, this obviously shuts that door, and is a more realistic, and safer, outcome for the QB. The earliest Tagovailoa could return is Week 8 against the Cardinals, but the Dolphins are committed to placing no timeline on him as he works through a deliberate process and eventual return to play, the post went on to say.
