Chase Claypool should get the most run with Mooney's absence considering they just made a move for him but the modest target share could be spread around the team's mediocre fantasy options. It's possible rookie Velus Jones gets more run as the season wraps up.

The Chicago Bears are acquiring wide receiver Chase Claypool in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers, a source told ESPN's Field Yates on Tuesday.

The Bears are getting a second-round pick in return, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Claypool started the season slow, and his name immediately became mentioned as a trade candidate. But over the last four weeks he's posted lines of 5-50-0, 7-96-1, 5-41 and 4-45-0. He should slide right in as the team's WR2 behind Mooney in what is a run-first offense for the Bears. Meanwhile in Pittsburgh, Pickett's value should increase as he and Johnson should see a few more targets. Boykin slides into the WR3 role for the Steelers.

The New Giants have placed WR Dante Pettis (shoulder) on IR. He can be designated for return ahead of Week 12.

Wide receivers Dante Pettis, Sterling Shepard, and Kadarius Toney all got hurt during the game. Toney was able to return, but Pettis’ shoulder injury and Shepard’s quad injury ended their nights.

Shepard, early on in the season, was a big piece in the offense, but he missed three games with hamstring injuries already this season and head coach Joe Judge was left to hope that this injury won’t lead to further absences, the story said, but the team didn't have any other information. Toney was able to return to the game after injuring his thumb. The Giants face the Raiders at home in Week 9 before hitting their bye week so it's possible the team isn't rushing anyone back next week.
