Philadelphia RB Mike Bell Suffers Calf Strain
Philadelphia Eagles running back Mike Bell began the morning as a full participant, after taking part in portions of practice last week because of a hamstring injury.
About an hour into the session he was taken to be examined and then carted off the field back to the locker room.
Bell has a slight calf strain, according to Bell and coach Andy Reid.
"It's one of those things that just happened," said Bell, who has been in anguish over not getting much of a chance to show his new team what he can do, since signing as a restricted free agent from the Saints in the offseason.
Bell said he felt his calf tighten jogging back to the huddle after a carry.
"I'll be fine. I'm one of those people that's going to come back stronger ... It could have been an Achilles', it could have been an ACL, but it's just a calf. That's always a blessing."
This doesn't sound like anything serious. Bell is not a heavily coveted commodity in fantasy leagues, but he's shown in the past he can be useful at times.
