QB Trent Edwards First In Line For Buffalo

Yesterday we reported via the Buffalo News that Brian Brohm was the first quarterback to see action at Buffalo's Saturday practice. The News has since amended that report, stating that Trent Edwards took the first snaps at quarterback in 11-on-11 drills.

Fantasy Impact:

It's always interesting to track a quarterback battle, but it would be hard to get excited about Edwards in the fantasy world even if he wins the job.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
