Rivera: Logan Thomas not ready for the field

WFT HC Ron Rivera told reporters that TE Logan Thomas is not ready to return to the field yet after experiencing soreness Monday. "So far, so good. But, again, he’s just not ready to be put on the football field and that’s probably the biggest thing. We have to be smart about that."

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bummer to see Thomas down, but rushing him during a mostly lost season does not benefit him or the team.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
