Since the end of the 2009 season, Santana Moss has had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. As a result, he's sitting out minicamp this weekend, but is expected to be ready to go when Washington gathers for another minicamp next month.
"He'll be ready to go in June," Washington head coach Mike Shanahan said. "He's been on rehab here for about three months. I'm not going to get into the surgeries or what happened to him, but basically he got cleaned up a little bit. Had a little irritation, and should be no setbacks. Should be ready to go."
Moss, who had just three touchdowns in 2009 but produced 902 receiving yards, is expected to be Donovan McNabb's top target among Washington's wide receivers. He won't produce like a superstar, but if McNabb stays healthy he should be an adequate fantasy starter.
